This little meetup is just to get the community going and getting to know each other before we start working our way though “The List” in January! We’re solidifying the location but are leaning towards partnering with ___________ for it.

Our first book on “The List” is about the phenomenon designer Ann Cole Lowe whose work transcends eras and is too often under-celebrated for its outsized impact. Her personal story too, is one of perseverance, tenacity, and the overcoming of systemic hurdles that speak to the Black fashion experience in ways that are vital to a comprehensive understanding of American fashion history.
